Hey everyone,
In May 2023, Facebook abruptly unpublished our Oklahomans for Trump page. Our audience dropped from 15,000 to 9,900.
I have no idea how or why but those two events must be connected somehow.
We were scrambling for answers and are trying to figure out the best way to restore our ability to re-publish the page.
Facebook's reasoning is unclear. This could also be a lone Facebook employee enacting revenge. There are other Oklahoma for Trump impersonator pages with smaller followings that are up still.
We've been appealing the decision, but the lack of transparency is extremely frustrating.
They cited violations of community guidelines, the same vague accusations they used during COVID-19 to silence many conservative voices.
Interestingly, many of the claims they censored back then have since proven true.
This isn't just about our page—it's about ensuring that conservative voices are heard and respected.
Whenever we post content supporting Trump or conservative values, it seems to draw more scrutiny.
Sharing literal news articles or some of our community interactions have been flagged and removed without clear explanation.
We figured this might happen but it really seems like there should have been more clarity. Our community is in the dark.
We’re not giving up. We're appealing this decision and exploring all options to get our page back. In the meantime, we need your support more than ever.
Please subscribe and become a member to help us grow our audience and continue spreading our message.
I'll start updating things at least once a month.
Stay strong, stay informed, and let’s keep pushing forward.
Catch you later.
